Fifth Annual Juried Alumni Art Exhibition
CALL FOR ENTRIES
: The Martin Art Gallery is delighted to host the fifth annual juried exhibition of original works of art by alumni who have, in the last three years, made two- or three-dimensional art. We invite you to participate in this new aspect of Alumni Weekend!
: August 28 - September 24, 2017, Galleria Lobby/Baker Center for the Arts
: Alumni Weekend – Saturday, September 16, 2-3 p.m.
: The Martin Art Gallery Exhibitions Committee which is comprised of the Gallery Director Paul Nicholson and studio art and/or art history faculty. Selected artists will be announced in late July and recognized at the Alumni Art Exhibition reception.
: Each selected alumni artist is responsible for all shipping costs. The art must be wired and ready to hang, or sufficiently stable to present on a pedestal and received by the Martin Art Gallery no later than August 7, 2017. The Gallery reserves the right to reject installing any piece deemed too fragile, insecurely wired or otherwise not suitably safe to exhibit in a public space.
Pick up/return date
: work can be picked-up in person as soon as September 25, 2017, by arrangement with the Gallery Director, or will be returned via shipping that has been pre-paid by the artist. The Martin Art Gallery cannot store, or be responsible for unclaimed works of art.
