Muhlenberg College will always hold a special place in the heart of David Ellowitch ’98. A philosophy major, he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and married Muhlenberg alumna Alyssa M. Rabenold Ellowitch ’02.
Though he originally planned to enroll in medical school, David used his liberal arts education to follow a different path after graduation. He worked in the development office at Muhlenberg, helping to promote the College’s mission. Working at his alma mater inspired him to join the Circle of 1848 and name Muhlenberg as the benefactor of a life insurance policy.
David now works as a financial planner in his family business, Ellowitch 3 LLC, helping others to secure their estate plans. He feels that there are advantageous ways for alumni, parents and friends to provide for the College while achieving their other financial goals.
David has attended several Circle of 1848 events and has enjoyed connecting with alumni that he may not have otherwise had the opportunity to meet. He encourages anyone considering including Muhlenberg in their estate plans to further explore this option. “Joining the Circle of 1848 is a nice way to connect with the College community. Muhlenberg has had a huge impact on me, and I am happy to give back in this way,” says David.
